And just for saying yes heres some Timbo BETA screens for you!
Yes thats fully working snow. Yes it can be used in any server. Yes we edited the bitmaps, physics and such to make it like a blizzard. Yes we didnt forget to null out the sun so its more realistic.

I don't like it as much as boarding action, but it looks pretty good. One thing I really don't like are these parts:
They seem very out of place, and just look like some random texture. Other than that the map just seems to lack the usual shine and brilliance most FTW maps have. I don't know if this is because it's set in a blizzard theme or what. But even that shouldn't stop you from doing something a bit more with the insides. You have the chance to make an excellent contrast between the blizzard outside and the shiney inside. (Though this would work better if there was some way to stop the snow inside).
One idea I had that you could consider for this mod would be perhaps to do some duplicating and remodeling of the rocks to look like snow. Obviously you wouldn't need a collision so no worries there. If you could make them into tiny little clumps that were affected by vehicles and whatnot that might be even better. I could tell you how to make 100% movable scenery if you don't already know.
Another quick idea for the snow that you might try. Active scenery. I have no idea what the lag factor of this would be, but if you used active scenery to emulate snow you'd be able to make it look better and it wouldn't snow inside.

were not done with the map hence why I said beta sreens. Active scenery is coolbut soon as the scenery spawns youll get a exception in a lobby game. Ive seen so many cool maps noty get played alot simply cause you have to have the mod to play the mod for everyone. thats why im trying to push what is acceptable for going anywhere with these maps.
some textures are simply placeholders kinda just to see if the color of a texture flows with a map correctly just like the base has no bump map for the texture to the top and bottom of the one you pointed out. were working on it but not trying to rush and take our time so we can finally earn a HM emblem (joking on the emblem btw ) but yeah its coming along thoe.
one thing i dont want to do is give everything away all at once or make unnessary SS posts on every little thing we do cause it takes away from the anticipation of whats to come. im only giving you SS of what "I WANT YOU TO SEE". that way when the mod is released you get more excitement of not knowing what to expect and such.
also, did you really think we'd leave the water flowing? yeah, these screens are mainly theme ideas for user feedback. then once we have a theme well pronounce that theme more over time.

Your either doing something reallywrong or you downloaded the wrong ones being PC or MAC.
Also you need to make sure ALL the maps are used or the mod may not work correctly.

All props for Timbo goes to Ness. She did this map herself with me only telling her what I wanted as far as a theme for it. She pulled it off 100%+ I think.
