A small bug I guess would be that a lot of the new weapons animations don't have the sounds to go with them. I also think that the banshee fuel rod should do more damage. The extra decals and particles do slow down the game, (Make it lag sometimes). Its fine if you have a fast enough computer. I think the AR could either have a HROF or do more damage per shot. Why don't the banshee's blow up on normal? or is it all difficulties? Here are some things to check in to. Good work! I love all the added stuff.
There are some very good points there. The animations sound bugs aren't really my fault, so don't cry about it anyone.
The banshee fuel rod damage can be fixed in a matter of seconds. I might turn down particles and decals to cope with slower computers, though most people either have them on or off anyway. The covenant vehicle collsion models can also be fixed very easily. Thanks for the advice!
Anyway, new stuff. Sounds. I have started working on some new impact sounds, like when you drop an assault rifle or melee the snow. On this subject, I would like to apologise for the lack of a sounds.ppf included in the download; the battle rifle and plasma rifles must have sounded crap.
Anyway, when you drop a weapon on the snow, it makes a little particle, just like when you run on it. It looks cool. Obviously this effect will be transferred to different material types on other levels like grass, dirt, sand and water, and the particle will be changed respectively to suit the surface. You won't get a snow burst when you run on metal.
Also, this doesn't slow you down or cause lag. Fun.
