to do that i think all you need to do is get the grenade plugin for HMT and then make it from 4 to eight.

Okay, I've duplicated some turrets for a mod, but there isn't enough scenery to replace them with. I'm putting them in Ice Fields, but I don't want to replace the rocks and trees. I've tried to put them where the grenades and weapons are, but that doesn't work. The turret doesn't even show up in the map when I do that. Is there a way to add them in without replacing something else?

try taking the meta tag for the turret(copy it) and then place it where you want to replace whatever weapon (paste it over exsiting weapon meta) Try and make it a weapon that only appears once so that you can dupe if needed....ei RL or FRG
Actually, I want to place the turrets in the map by means of editing the scnr XML file and moving them using SE3.01. I don't want to completely get rid of a weapon from the map.
