After you select the hanger in Sparkedit, press "reset camera" and it'll take you there. :P

I would've suggested an HMT meta swap so that the hanger loads instead of some other part of the map, but apparently that's been proven that it doesn't work. How about changing the MC's initial spawn point (in SPKE) so he starts in the hanger bay? Just an idea. :?

What about exporting the hanger BSP and making it into an MP map? You could potentially replace HangemHigh with it after rebuild. It might be complicated but it could work! I'm gonna give it a shot...

just an update on what i know and what ive got for those who are lost.

the cryotube is my spawn point and what loads a10a. i can move the cryotube around but only within the a10a part of a10.map. if i move it out. i will spawn in the darkness not being able to move. somehow i have to change i think its the value of the cryotube or whatever triggers a10a to load with the one for the hangar which i have no idea. thats all i got :mrgreen:

the hanger is right over the cryo bay so what if u walked up the walls on the cryo bay iwth collison off do u think it would still be loaded from the little movie. or did u already try this.

like j4 said read before u post i already mention that its not loaded so as of now there is no known way that i know of. but hey im not giving up.

Their are internal timers & trigger areas that do these. You cannot just walk up to roof and it loads.

Doesn't work that way.

thats correct but we can move around some of those like if u notice the cryotube u appear in theres actually 2 one is the trigger i believe and the other is jsut the model im going to put all the 2 in different spots and see if one leaves after it loads a10a. and see which one i come out off. but still that wont change anything of what im trying to accomplish.

what no i quoted him on what he quoted thats all.

ok the hangar is meant to load for the cinematic. something triggers the hangar to load at the start and we need to duplicate that trigger over the trigger of the a10a whatever the hell it is. i think some of the triggers to loading other parts are some of the doors.

i dont know what it is but its probably some ofject or something. one more thing it probably is internal and we cant touch it or mod it (yet) but wheres the proof.

so far for me at least my theory stands.

you guys havent gotten any results, your just preflaming :-/, and your not going to get anywhere , even if you actually figure out how to "decollision" yourselves (which isn't that hard, come on, :-/ ). You can't just load up the hanger submap with your harry potter magic.

what i meant was maybe u need that crewman to get u outta ur cryo tube and stuff and then after you have your shield and all u should try also maybe in spark edit u can find the trigger

ok say u somehow magically get in this place wat do u expect to find there? i don't think it would matter if u found them like k u found a hog' good job, now go try and run over covenant faggots with it in 4 foot walkways. actuallly i know for sure nothing is there because **OPEN UR EYES GUYS** it is a fucking cinematic. bungie made it as a movie, not an actual place. that warthog wouldn't do shit it is just a figment of the cinematic world. 8) 8)

What if the cutscene data were somehow nulified? The hanger would be loaded but nothing would happen. Could you then set your spawn point inside the hanger and move around?

shadowbeast the hangar is an actual place. bungie makes its cinematics from actual parts of the map. so please dont post unless you do know what your talking about. the reason i want to get there is to try something new its a huge area.

i liked that last line.lol right after i wrote that i looked on sparkedit. and u i found the 'hanger' u talk bout.i spy it and it looks like some random place where there r a shitload of vehicles and yah its from the cutscene. but how do ya no its big there r doors and everythings black. u talked bout spawning in black urself. oh i wonder why...is that because there is no structure for it? no model? no texture? hmm... why won't it load! cause its for a fucking cutscene.

PLEASE TELL ME SENSAI! don't act like you rule this message baord, you're new here too, and not in any way a mod, and I'll post all I want, and my post should have been helpful, because without a mod, or experienced person, you won't get ANYWHERE, because getting a submap to load will take much more work, and is something beyond your grasp
