Yeah, you can stop guessing. It's not based off of anything, originally I was making Foundation, the H2 map, out of a CE box scenery andy made for me, but the scenery had holes in it after stretching, so I gave it up and made this instead.

Thanks Pepsi and guy.

Moving onto the actual modding of the map, and then I have to import some more tags in.

Also, this will be the last you'll see of this mod for a long time, no more releases from me until I wrap a little something up. I think you'll all love it, just gotta be patient.

And yeah, ATM you can have the mod and join a server, and I'm pretty sure you can have people join yours, since the only added thing is scenery, and that's loaded through the map file and not through the server.

This is my entry for MOTM, since I'm not going to release the final as it's part of a bigger plan.

what would be really cool is if you made the area where the shotgun/sniper spawns low... remodel it a ltitle bigger so its like a base. think that would be a good idea. because the map really is too open... basically a 33 ping sniper spawn killing map LOL

You do realise this is PC right? And that you can't "remodel" a BSP?

Maybe they are referring to a CE -> PC conversion.
Edit in CE, then convert to PC, like what Andrew does...

By adding a water plane to a map you essentially do change the "BSP" environment. You could also build bases that are scenery models and simply add them to be played on. There's alot you can do to a map if you think outside the box and you know this just like I do.

It would be amazing if someone built a entire new map in the pit of gephy or in damnation but I not going to go into all that. There's reasons why Gephy is taking so long as it is.

Good Day Sir! Have fun during Beta!

Oh really. Building a whole new level somewhere. Out of scenery stuff. Huh, that would be something pretty cool, wouldn't it Pepsi. I've sure never seen that before, no way. I've never seen a map made entire of scenery, maybe even with edited collision models. Now wouldn't that be something. :roll:

I was just talking to Modzy, and I must say he's pretty awesome. I won't divulge into what he's said, but it sounds pretty epic. and my pretty I mean incredibly.

Also, I'm surprised nobody's been able to link what I said in that picture with anything.

Some hints;

It's a futuristic research facility.
It's on HangEmHigh

OLD!

I think tyler777 was the first one to publicly release a mod that swapped the sbsp for a scen so that you can have custom maps without using CE. it is really not that hard, people over on MacGamingMods forums have been doing this for a while on demo. Andrew knows what I am talking about. The biggest problem is trying to get scenery large enough to act as a map.

Modzy is a cool guy, just have to get him talking, I would venture to say he knows a lot more about hex modding that a lot of people here in regards to Halo 1. Especially after what he figured out about SBSP structure.

Finally, my guess is ... I have no idea, even though I appearently should. Maybe you should actually tell me what I am supposed to know, but is not connecting...

Ohhh, you guys are no fun, here let me put all the puzzle pieces together;

No, you can't make a whole new campaign with fresh cutscenes and scripted events (conure go away :wink: ), but you can make a new story.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Picture wrote:Theme is a high-tech, futuristic military training and research station.

Notice how these pictures show a training station as a state-of-the-art, pristine complex, where as Project DH showed the same BSP being run down and decaying.
Spoilers wrote:I'm making a new campaign, which will tell the entire story of Project DH, through multiple people. It'll start out with a flashback to the past, showing the events that occurred during the station's beginning, the weeding out of the least powerful soldiers, and eventually the introduction of the flood DNA to make a super-soldier, and the testing of the super-soldiers. Then it'll show how the testing went wrong, and the soldiers became flood.

Next, it'll flash back to the present, where I'll be remaking Project DH and Act II to be more up to the standards I'm putting forth with the mod, and finally I'll wrap up the story with finishing Act III, which was the project that I lost to an exception error and lack of backups in the near finished stages.

IDK how many levels I'm putting in, but I'm guessing something around 7-8.
