I don't see how he's not being honest. It's obviously his opinion, and if you don't like it, that's too bad.

I don't get it, last time I checked halo 3 wasn't broken and didn't have bloodgulch, especially a stone looking bloodgulch.
Don't try to mimic halo 3 with your disgusting textures and broken HUD.
Make something original and not broken. This really isn't good.

His opinion isn't a very great one if he's simply jumping to the conclusions. That's disregard for how the mod could turn out. I never said he was mean, I was saying that he should take note of things before he posts. A few glances tells you nothing.

This will be my third year here, so don't tell me what I can and can't do. In my opinion, the modder here should just finish what they started, or better yet, put their tags to better use.

Again you miss the point. You should take into consideration what is actually going on before posting. You don't have to respect me because I joined in 2K5, that was just to point out that I know what I'm saying (mod criticism). I'm saying his opinion is bad because it had little to show for why he felt that way. You should drop it, this doesn't concern you.

Where did you get the idea that I was mad? I'm not luring anyone into a flame war. I'm saying that you actually have to think a bit before posting what you think. You can't just jump the gun on a title and a few pictures.

He's making observations based on what he's seen so far. He doesn't have the mod, so what else can he do? If his comments were good, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now.
No one's saying the mod can't have potential. All mods do, it's just up to the creator. And we're not telling you what you can/can't do. They are all just suggestions, which should be why you posted this here. To get suggestions, opinions, and critique.

It needs work, but it has pontential. What do people have against a Halo 3 mod? Is it because they usually look bad?
