lol i have that, that is not "sbsp extractor" that is ce bsp tag converter. and i need a .scenario_structure_bsp to even use that program, and have no idea how to get that

anyways since i do do my research i figure i need halo ce, and hek installed to extract all the maps tags and be able to use that ce bsp tag converter to get the obj, but no one mentioned any of that

ok i got halo ce, hek installed, that ce bsp tag converter but have no clue what to do now. and i refuse to install any more crap, i thought all i needed was an sbsp extractor to "extract" the bitmaps and bsp from the .map and make a .mtl file..... so far all i've reached are dead ends

OMG.

Hek+ - Adds tags to Hek, Is not better or higher than hek itself.

Hek - Edits halo in a nice and orderly kit.

And what are you trying to do? You are trying to get a Scenario_Structure_BSP to a .obj. Correct? Well yes you need that 'CE BSP tag converter'. Why? Because it takes CE Scenario_Structure_BSP and converts it to obj with the materials and textures (sorta) needed. What your asking for Does NOT exist for pc as of yet...

To get a Scenario_Structure_BSP you need to use Hek+ to extract the tags from a map. Now...I am guessing you want to change the level...then import it back into pc? Thats impossible with out the use of CE. For level design you need CE. CE->PC is totally possible. You act like no one is trying to help you, when really they gave you the tools and you were ignorant. Now go use Hek+ and that 'CE BSP tag converter'.

no its just that no one mentioned that, what i want to do is simply convert a halo pc multi map into an obj with mtl and textures. i have so far managed to convert the scenario_structure_bsp that i extracted with hek+ into obj and mtl, and have got the 10 textures that it supposedly referenced in the mtl.

well anyways i got the textures i needed and all the stuff thanks guys. what i am attempting is not modding halo but hacking a halo level into another game... goldeneye on n64 lol here's my progress so far

Image

that is in game. the fog will be removed, and i cant move around too freely in the map due to clipping issues but pretty soon it will be playable.

Can you please tell me how you got the .OBJ and .mtl please? I'm trying to find a way to get bloodgulch into Super Mario 64, if its possible. BTW, what picture formats do N64's use?

EDIT:I got the .mtl and .obj, is it possible to get it into Super Mario 64 with .bmp bitmaps?
