I managed to inject them into the Silent Cartographer. Oddly enough, the look like Flood Carriers that decided to choose an "alternative life style." I plugged in the Engineer AI, but I think I'm going to try it with a more aggressive alien. Another stranger thing is that the actor varient says it wields the plasma pistol, but the only thing I saw it do was float around. lol.
Their collision model is bodgy. You can shoot them but you can also walk through them, they just float around, they don't pop when they die (on SC anyways), they can fly, they carry the plasma rifle but don't really use it and go flying hundreds of metres into the air when a grenade goes off near them. They still needed a lot of work when Halo was released.
It's all Microsoft's fault for releasing Halo before it was ready.
I know. If they'd waited a little longer and worked on it more, than probably most computers would be able to run it like you see on the Xbox, but instead you have to have a really powerful machine. Hopefully Gearbox won't be doing the second one whenever it's released for PC. So were the Engineers programmed into the Xbox version too? Here's an even more annoying little brain teaser. Did the Engineer idea originate in the game (hidden in the Xbox version) or in the book?

The new hmt will be able to do that.
