Heh thanx, it's the funniest

Well I tried making the shockwave gun, and when I finished saving it all up, I went into halo but when I said start game I just got kicked off halo.Not even a "gathering exception data". :?

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I DID:
1.I opened HMT3
2.Opened Blood Gulch
3. Opened weapons, selected rocket launcher
4. I edited the rocket launcher to the preferences I set in above post
5.I edited to preferences under projectiles
6. I edited preferences under damage.
7.I opened Halo like normal, I selected multiplayer,selected internet
8.I selected create game, selected slayer for game type
9. Selected start game, said starting network preferences for a split second and then I saw my desktop.
What did I do wrong??? :(

Well I dunno what I did wrong with the shockwave wep mod, but....

For yet another stupid mod idea! :D

This time I shall make something up that is amazingly stupid....But what the hey why not...?

A christmas weapon....(the bullet comes straight from our hearts... :wink: )

I came up with it on other topic but I figured I'd post here...I really have to post the other one on different reply though because it's the funniest one I've made since grunt grenades.

Tree Launcher- Launches a tree with 2 fuel rod gun bolts sticking too it, and it explodes with christmas cheer, instantly showing a green plasma burn on the ground and red blood.....

CHIRSTMAS MOD(Again)


It's called Blow-up-Santa.....

A mod of a shade to shoot red MCs, enlarged in photoshop to make him look fat.... then if possible put some white lining on his head and waist and you got flying santas that blow on impact :D

that chaingun idea might not be that hard to make. Just seperate the warthog gun from the warthog. or mod the flame thrower to shoot diffferent bullets since it already has a big clip and MC holds it like a chaingun. make it shoot pistol bullets, increase rate of fire, decrease bullet damage from chaingun a little and redo the looks although getting multiple barrels and have them spinnign might be a little hard, you could use the warthogs gunner seat barrel and guns looks. if you make it, post it because this actually would be an awesome mod.. and also when hosting a game, select lan if youre testing a mod. Just make pistols shoot masterchiefs for target practice. just some advice.

cool... but I can't even be proud of switching values in HMT3 because I can't do it right I suck at modding so much =(

I tried testing the shockwave wep on LAN and it still didn't work.. I just got kicked :cry:

During your HMT3 process did you get an Error message? This happened to me once and I just retried it. I didn't get the message and it worked.

Nope... no error message... it worked fine. I saved after each modification then quit out of HMT3, made sure no other programs were running, tried, and it didnt work. :( [/code]

post you xmas ideas in the holiday skinning contest thread, and also, photoshop is for skinning not modeling, so you can't "enlarge" him with that

I've got a stupid mod idea. Make the MC throw a handful of gravel instead of frag-nades.

Hows throwing a handful of gravel make someone blow up? :? It'd be better if you remade the frag grenade to a throwing knife with a mini-bomb tucked in the blade so it explodes on impact.

YET ANOTHER STUPID MOD IDEA!
hey!

Ok that was a gay intro....

Anyways, my idea this time is for a medieval game for bloodgulch. This would take forever to do all of the modding and getting new textures and stuff but it would be awesome...I FREAKING MADE THIS UP GET MY POINT YOU THIEVES??????

Banshee-Dragon... not to big, just a basic dragon about the size of the banshee... the fuel rod gun is red instead of green, and the normal plasma fire is changed to spikes coming out of the dragon.

Scorpion-Catapult... the same stats for the scorpion except it looks like a steel catapult. The scorpions cannon is changed to a big rock flying out of the catapult, except the speed that it travels is reduced by half, but there is more area of effect and higher damage.The life span of this bolt would last across the entire map.The scorpions machine gun is changed to tiny rocks flying out of the catapult that have an area of effect, a little bit higher damage, but travel 1/4 slower.

Rocket Warthog-Ballista... the warthog moves only a bit faster than the tank, but looks like a ballista, which is tringular, has a couple of wires attached to the spear ready to shoot. Of course, the warthogs rockets are changed to look like giant spikes(Maybe an enlarged version of the dragons spikes) and require 1 second reloading after every shot, and at the end of FIVE shots you have to have a 3 second reload. It would have a wider area of effect, more damage, and the life span of these bolts would last across the entire map.

Machine Gun Warthog-Mini Catapult... Looks like a smaller version of the scorpion/catapult, but shoots only the tiny rocks and no big ones. It would also move a little bit faster than the ballista. The tiny rocks would still move slower, but not as slow as the tanks, and would have an area of effect and more damage.

Ghost-Battering Ram... shoots trees with a tiny area of effect but the same damage, and a force of 5. The only diference in looks is that its color is brown.

This would just be a map/vehicle mod so the weapons aren't changed except that there is no sniper rifle.

Bases-Castle... Only difference is that its made of stone and it has a door on all entrances that can be damaged only by the siege equipment and not weapons. The doors could be made destructable if its just a destructable warthog remade to look like a wooden door in front of the entrances. You can spawn only on the top of your castle, if possible.

Map-Trees are changed to stone blocks and the grass is black.

If this is even possible, it would take forever but it would be SO AWESOME....even though I doubt it isn't possible I wanted to post anyways =D

and the gravel-nades wouldn't explode, just do some damage and bounce a little.

trebuchet (treb-you-shay) n. A military engine used in the Middle Ages for throwing stones, etc. It acted by means of a great weight fastened to the short arm of a lever, which, being let fall, raised the end of the long arm with great velocity, hurling stones with much force.

true, but a treb can fling a *MUCH* hevier load than a catapult. hell, most large trebs could fling a whole *catapult*

What you want me to do then, change the name? If your definition is correct, it has the exact same stats.
