But,for ideas right off the bat, for human weapons only, heres a few ideas :

Mini-Gun/Chain Gun- Shoots 50 rounds per second, has pinpoint accuracy, but has a clip size of 200. 4 seconds of non stop machine gun sniper action, with a full ammo count of 1200.

FPVIST(First Person View Invisible Sniper Turret)- Pretty much you get rid all the shades and replace them with invisible warthogs that can't move. When you get into the LAAG turret in the back, you instantly go invisible with a first person view on the LAAG turret. The turret shoots sniper rounds and zooms 2x and 8x, and reloads after 8 shots of stealth killing.

OART(Old Age Rock Thrower) - You need Deadly_Shadows HMT3 plugin for this.
Not sure if you need to do this, but you probably have to save after EACH OF THESE STEPS.Just to be safe.Assuming you want to do this anyways.
Heres the small tutorial :
1.Go to SCENERY in HMT3.
2.Select rocks\a50_rock_large\a50_rock_large(The first thing you see for rocks in HMT3)
3.Highlight the model number and do CTRL + C. (Cut/Copy)
SAVE NOW.
5.Go to weapons,select vehicles\scorpion\scorpion cannon.Now put 2 in the catagory projectiles fired.Then, put 0.03 under minimum spread.Then, put 0.05 under maximum spread.
SAVE NOW.
6.Go to projectiles and select scorpion\tank shell. Highlight the model number and do CTRL + V(Paste).
SAVE NOW.
7. Got to Weight / Arc and put 1. Select initial speed and put 0.8, then select final speed and put 0.4.
SAVE NOW.
8.Done! :D
Pretty much you get a tank that shoots a couple of rocks like a catapult with the damage of 2 tank bolts. It would be pretty cool.

MRB(Machine Rocket Bomber)-Fuel rod gun shoots 2 homing rockets. The normal plasma fire is changed to LAAG fire(The normal LAAG fire) at a decreased velocity.

i think its great that coming up with all these ideas, but try not to post twice consecutivly, or make stupid posts with nothing in them.

That last post was a few hours after the other one. I couldn't think of any ideas for halofan141's mod at the time. I guess I could have edited.... :?

I tried to do the OART thingy but for some reason the model plugin I got never works.

I think the problem is that you can't make the Scorpion a rock.. try without making the scorp a rock.

It's my first time trying to do something like that and making a tutorial thing, so sorry.... :?

OK, I found the problem...I'm fixing the tutorial now...you just can't make the scorpion a rock but you can still make it launch a couple of rocks like a catapult :o

And you can't see model number?? its like this


Model Number -58af567+22


then just copy and paste in the correct spot. Read the readme for Deadly_Shadows plugin. Pretty much you take out bipd proj vehi and weap in HMT3s plugin folder, then replace it with the same ones that are found in Deadly Shadows plugin folder. Then you should get the whole model number thing.

Yeah I've done all of that and I do see the model number, but whatever swaps I try to make don't work.

Do you save after every swap?

no need, its a tag feature, but you must look at the model your swapping and make make sure it has the sam or fewer number of indices as the old one.

uh, i know im kindof late here, but on your medival mod, you and edwin having the argument about trebuchets and crap, the main difference in them is not how they shoot, it is the trajectory, a treb shoots like a mortar, it was originally designed to launch heavy rocks into a castle, a catapult is designed to take down the castle walls by shooting in a low forward arc.

Yes, maybe you can crimson, but you can't come up with anything other than,"oooooooooo I get to make an assault rifle shoot 10 rounds per second!!!" and buzz off, this is my topic for people who need help for their mod ideas. Post your ideas somewhere else. :evil:

And I'm not in the mood to battle someone mentally. Again.

OK. I'm bored. I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING! :shock: so I made an idea up :D :
This would be best for danger canyon....
How about travel mod? Sort of like the teleporter except there are 5 teleporters, and they can only be used in a window of 10 seconds for 1 minute. There are different climate zones(ones raining, ones sunny, anothers snowing, another is hailing, and the other is foggy. There would be 11 teleporters in all, and your bases teleporter would teleport to your side of the climate,while the enemies teleporter goes to the other side of the climate zone. There would be one secret teleporter hidden inside a cave which teleports you to a high area thats very very dark. Each hosts the best weapons for each condition.The sniper rifle is in the foggy climate, the assault rifle and pistol for the raining climate, the fuel rod gun and the rocket launcher for the snowing climate, the hailing climate hosts the plasma rifle and plasma pistol, and the sunny climate has the needler, pistol, and plasma pistol.The dark area would have the sniper rifle, pistol, and rocket launcher, which is all the weapons that can zoom and do some damage.

I don't think this is possible because it would be really laggy probably but it would be so cool if it was :D
