I was messing around with InvaderVeex's Sniper animations and somehow it screwed up my Halo sniper sounds. It doesn't have any sounds anymore except for firing, meleeing, and no ammo. There is no weapon ready sounds, or realoading. How can I restore my map to original? I have backup my maps before modding and placed them into the folder it it was still the same. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but it was of no use. Any suggestions?
P.S.
A Halo 3 weapons soundpack to come from me within the next bit, I wanna test em out before releasing them to avoid a problem like this.

Have you tried replacing the actual sound .map file?

Re: Restore Maps Files
How about a full reinstall of everything Halo related?

RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR!
Lol, I have no clue if that is it, but sounds like a mod is staying from some sort of cache.
As for how to fix it, uninstalling and installing should have worked.

Re: Restore Maps Files
Maybe I'll do that again but this time I'll restart my PC a couple of times. Running as admin will remove all mods etc. I like it that way so I can have a non modded and modded version of Halo between the difference of running as admin or not. I just did what I wanted, I uninstalled and restarted etc. But of no use? Why is this happening? Maybe I'll just create a new Windows account on my PC usually that works. Any other things that may fix this problem?
Re: Restore Maps Files
Try installing to a different directory. When you reinstall it may skip over the files that it sees are already there.
Re: Restore Maps Files
Thanks that most likely will work. But I wanna free up some space on my HD.
Re: Restore Maps Files
So delete the old directory.
Actually, you could uninstall halo, delete the Halo folder, then install. Don't select the reinstall option from the CD menu.
