You don't remember...or you don't want to remember. I'll kick both of your asses with a bigger pipe-wrench while she climbs through some hole I made by grabbing the wall and pulling. BTW, do you like my green eye?

Anyways, Pepsi ALWAYS gave me good feedback.

" i give your mod a 3/10 cause your saying its a paintball mod"

"dont mean to hurt your feelings or anything but like i said... this has been done before and alot better."

"people arent flaming their letting you know this has been done before and alot better."

I agree.
the reason why i don't like ATi is because of the fact that it decides that it doesn't want to display at 1680x1080 for me anymore, even though i know my monitor can support it because it was supporting it for the first month i've had it. funny that...

Have you reinstalled the drivers? And/or have you updated your drivers?

Pepsi, I looked at your tutorial thing and the screenshot. To be honest, I think I can get the same thing by messing with my contrast and brightness. Maybe I'm blind or something. :?

Edit: I read it again,
"it does make a difference especially if your using a 22"+ monitor."

Does it make a difference that my monitor is 19"?

I myself have always been a Nvidia fan and especially the EVGA model cards. But then again I know that ATi does make some awesome products as well. I don't really see it as a debate but more of sticking to what you personally favor and what your used to as a user for a gfx card.

I simply named one tool I use personally and can't garantee it would/can work for everyone and since im not a ATi user means I can't suggest a tool/program for those cards since I have no experience with them. I mean I can go google and find one for you but nothing ive used personally or can back claiming it would/can work.

Hamp, bring your pipewrench and your wallet, you owe me for a new magic frame anyways. I want to see your close up eyes when you have to shell out the money to replace it!

What stupid name did I have? Pepsi711? That's my Youtube name >_>

Botternub, i hate to disappoint you but you said..

"and probably a gtx 280 to SLi with my 9800 gtx "

A 280 will not SLI with a 9800. Only cards from the same series can SLI. Example being a "9800 + 9800" or "280 +280". The cards have to be the same model with the only example being if one card is factory overclocked. So you can run a "9800GTX + 9800GTX OC" but a 9800 "GT" cannot SLI with a "GTX" and expecially with a 280 series. It's not going to work.

The following excerpts are taken from the SLI Zone Faqs

Can I mix and match graphics cards?
In order to provide optimal symmetric scaling, SLI technology requires the NVIDIA GPUs to match. For example, a GeForce 7800 GTX must be paired with another GeForce 7800 GTX. Likewise, a GeForce 6600 GT must be paired with another GeForce 6600 GT. However, using the latest Release 80 or later graphics drivers, NVIDIA GPUs sold by different manufacturers can be used together in an SLI configuration. For example, a GeForce 7800 GT from vendor ABC can be matched with a GeForce 7800 GT from vendor XYZ.

Can I mix and match graphics cards if one of them is overclocked by the manufacturer?
Yes. A GeForce 7800 GTX that is overclocked (for example BFG GeForce 7800 GTX OC) can be mixed with a standard clocked GeForce 7800 GTX.

Can I mix and match graphics cards with different sizes of memory?
While it is not recommended, NVIDIA does offer this flexibility using Coolbits. When purchasing a second graphics card, you should try to match the memory size so that you are ensured full value and performance from your purchase. For example, if your first card is a GeForce 6600 GT with 128MB of memory, you should purchase a second GeForce 6600 GT with 128MB of memory. However, using Coolbits (value set to 18), you can force both of the cards to use the lower of the two memory sizes and operate together in SLI mode. When dissimilar memory sizes are enabled to work together using Coolbits, the effective memory size for each card becomes the smaller of the two memory sizes.

It's not the size that counts, but the resolution it supports.

I think I said soemthing in the tut thread that thats not the actual difference being noticed. There is no way to take a SS of digital viberance on and off cause it only effects what YOU see on your end, not in screen shots. Example being if I redid my monitor setting to only show black and white and took a SS of it and posted it you would still see color cause your viewing it with YOUR monitor settings not mine. When I did that comparison SS I tried to manipulate the effect in Photoshop without being over exaggerated about it. Maybe I dulled it down to much thoe. Let me go check the net real quick for a pic..

Here, this might help you understand better..

...No DV on left ............................ DV on right...
Image

And yes, it makes a diff on a 19" as well. Like I said somewhere else. I used to run DV on my old OLD eMachines monitor which I think was a 16" CRT and it still stood out so much. Green was GREEN and not some washout pasty color. Hope that helped some. Also I had the monitor back in 1997 if that makes a diff. Yeah, back when eMachines and Compaq's were "cool" to have >_>

Hamp, Like that don't cha'!
