Editing the 'hud text message index' on PC
Editing the 'hud text message index' on PC
I have noticed that there is a value in a vehicle tag in guerilla that allows you to change where in the ustr item test message to look for the vehicles's name. I was wondering is there a plugin that allows Eschaton or HMT to edit that? I was unable to find one and when I converted two warthogs, both with different numbers there but with everything else the same, converted it to PC and extracted the tags, I was unable to find a single difference that I could meaningfully edit, does anyone know how you could do it without using the HEK?
You can edit the HUD message text index for a weapon using Eschaton. I'd assume it's the same for a vehicle, and just a case of getting an entity plugin converted. But don't hold me to that though.
For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.
Again, that's what I meant. Theoretically, there should be a vehi.ent plugin, but there isn't.

In vehicles no matter what plugin set I couldn't find anything, under the weapons the only thing was this:
-1.291311e+21
not exactly close to anything in guerilla...
I even opened the .ent tags that came with eschaton up in notepad and couldn't find anything that was close to it, so I'll ask again, which exact plugin are you using?

I use vehi.ent.
Sounds like a job for a new plugin. I know some of the other plugins have similar values like wphi which have references to which image in a bitm tag to use and which section of that image to use in the case of multiple reticles on the same image. I'm sure with a little research (or conure not having his automated creator making broken plugins) it would be quite possible to do this. Finding the reflexive would take no time at all.
Disclaimer: I am not actually working on the plugin so someone else feel free to do the research.

If you need this done right now, you could just find line 14, and edit it the same as what ever line you needed. I understood what you were asking for, but as of the plug-ins right now, I doubt that's possible. Probably because no one thought to have some random number they didn't understand be in their plug-ins.
Hope you find what you're looking for.
