adjusting aim

Post by tucker933 »

ok now that i have swapped the flamethrower model out with the plasma cannon model with the dependency swapper i have an issue of when someone looks at you with the gun, its aimed at the ground at all times unless your looking into the sky it looks forward, now its fine as long as your in first person tho. how do i fix this if its possible?

nope its pretty much the mc holds it at the same stance as he did with the flamethrower, and the aims is also quite a bit off of the reticle, it shoots in one place about 1cm down by 1cm to the right on the screen so i can tell its firing from a diff angle...

the flamethrower naturally fires from that spot.

Your problem is that the chief is still using the 3P animations for the flamethrower, when it needs the 3p animations of the plasma cannon. Open your dependancy swapper, and right underneath the first reference for the mod2, the third person model, there should be a nulled reference for a antr tag, fill it with the plasma cannon w/o the fp at the end.

that one doesnt either, the only choices i have without fp at the end are:
the pistol, sniper rifle and shotgun
and none of them seem to change how the mc holds the weapon
