i considered that but then i remembered 2 things:
1. MC has that mjolnir stuff
2. halo isn't earth, so it might have a weaker gravitational pull...definitely looks like it has less mass than earth

i almost forgot! :
i need help getting the FP view of the shotty to be held like a sniper so it doesnt pump afterward, trying to make a semi auto shotty, can't seem to get it right, any help would be appreciated

ive been swapping the animation triggers of the 2 weapons, and its not working so i guess that isn't how you do it

Your new skins are Beautiful. I really love the MC Camo now. That marine camo is really good too.

I have two things to ask.

One is to stop bickering about something stupid.

The other is to please make jumping height lower. Yes, Halo may have lower gravitational pull, and yes, they're all wearing spartan suits. However, the suit of armor is half-ton I think, and besides its called Halo: Combat Evolved and some players have made it Halo:Dodging Evolved.

On Earth the suit is a half ton but if you go to different planets with different gravitational pulls your weight changes. That is why you jump high on the moon even when those guys are wearing giant white space suits.

Froman, I say no to the flashbang, I remember making a smoke grenade in my timberland wasteland. I edit the particle effects with Phenoms plugins, try messing with those and make a new grenade?

regarding the mod itself, not the skins: it's making good progress, I'm making 2 versions, 1 is single player, 1 is multiplayer (in other words, they will be released as separate downloads) if you think this is a bad idea, lemme know

single player version is done up to AOTCR.
Now working on the first level that's gonna have the semi-auto shotgun.
I don't really wanna backtrack to get it done later when i figure out how to swap anims, so if anyone knows how to, lemme know now (doesn't mean i won't if i learn how to do it later :wink: )

as far as the multiplayer version goes:
I've been working on SP to much to get any real work done on MP, most I've gotten is an idea of what to do with the flamethrower, but working on SP has given me knowledge on what to do and what not to do when editing weapons and vehicles for MP.

About the whole "bickering about stupid things" or whatever... this topic is for talking about the mod and getting opinions from people on this forum, thats what I've been doing, and that's what I'm gonna keep doing :P

If you're still on Halo's giant space-station ring, make the ring rotate faster to give yourself more artificial gravity due to centrifugal forces; no need to make it a giant space-rock.

Now if you are on a planetary rock, then make it a giant ball so that the jump height isn't so far-fetched; also editing maps to make this new jump height and run speed would complete the whole change.
(No sense in not being able to go up a base because you can't jump, eh?)
Ramps are a great build tool, they don't confine the player as much as ladders and elevators do.

point taken, ok, lower jump height it is
first ill try to see if i can actually inscrease the gravity before i actually lower the jump hight, that's a last resort

i've decided that i'm probably going to just finish up everything i know how to do and release it as Version 1, if when this mod comes out, you're suggestions aren't in it, expect them in V2, coming as soon as i find out how to turn your ideas into a mod

wanna get this mod out there before it becomes too stressful and becomes one of those "would have been good...if it came out" mods
