This is my first time skinning and i got to the poin in photoshop where you have the .dds file open but I dont know reall how to skinn it can anyone show me a screen shot of one of their models and also how do you paste the image that you want or skin on it does it have to cover every inch of it because it is really hard to get the picture exactly right on the image do I have to do that in the first place.

Firstly, there are a few keys between "m" and "Shift"... try using them a bit more...
Next, most of the time when you begin, its just trial and error. Make inscriptions or images on the skin and save it. Look at ingame. Check where the images come up. Learn where images put in 2d (in Photoshop) end up in 3d (ingame). Then when you edit your skins, edit them accordingly. For just small changes, try messing with Photoshop filters & hues.
