Where the hell are the elite and the marine at in the end?

you know, the cut scene when you beat the game on legendary? it shows an elite and a marine hug each other as they watch the ring blow up.

Thats because SE doesn't usualy place bipeds where the bipeds actualy spawn, instead it marks their places with little pale yellow boxes. The Elite and Johnson are far far out in the desert type terrain.

When it's a cutscene, it normally shows Bipeds, not spawns.

Is it justed me, or is Seargent Johnson some kind of supernatural being. I mean, (depending on how well you fight) he dies in the cafeteria, next to the lifepods(i think thats him), at "alphabase" on the second level, during AotCR, the flood get him, and then we see him at the end getting blown up with everything else, and yet we still see him in the Halo2 trailer.
I wish i had that kind of lifespan.

p.s. Yes i have read the books and i know how he escapes the flood and gets off halo.

i know, thats fucked up. hes better then mc.
how long will he last? everyone likes him, but will his popularity save him or will the creators kill him. (it would be dumb)
