changing colors of ghost and banshee bolts

Ummmm I can't find a tutorial for this anywhere and need to know how to change them to orange or red for my upcoming mod. Can somebody please please please help me!!!! im begging you.

go to the mgs2 tag in HMT. change r to 250 g to 0 and b to 1. try that, adjust the colors if necessary. you can also change the size and shape of them. :wink:

here all i did was open up the mgs2 tag, change it to this
r 1
b0
g0
for both yon and hither then go to the bottom and change the tint exponent to 2
edit: i think i also changed the length to 2 but that's optional

XD wow thanks. O_O thats cool, umm, one more question if u dotn mind, there are red, amber, blue and green tags, out of those combinations how might i go about getting orange?

burnt orange:

g 0.174
b 0

bright orange:
r 0.255
g 0.120

..... r u using the 64 plugins pack? there an a r g and b i always undertstood the a was for amber...


And when u say change r g and blue, this is what i do, well actually ill just take a pic of my hmt so u can tell me what im doing wrong...

:? that looks just like mine... i wish I could help, i just don't know what the problem is. Is that a rebuilt BG? perhaps your effects are just screwed up. try a different map.

Im guessing you can do the same with the plasma Rifle and Plasma pistol?

yes you can if mine would work. maybe its cause in your rebuilt sidewinder its night and its dark so u can see the bolts. Did u do any bitmap changing? Oh and will this also change the color of on the ghost turrets when u fire the bolts and it has the blue little "sparks" i guess u could say?

muzzle flashes and decals you'll have to skin... and this works for anything in the mgs2 tag. As for my sidewinder, I've done it before on clean maps and it works just fine.
