Active camo for vehicles (control, not permanent feature)

This will probably be possible after the CTRL plugin (see Bored...new plugin)

Is there a way, with or without the plugin, to create "active camouflage" for a vehicle? Below are extensions of this question, not solutions.

1.) Method one (with the plugin): pressing CTRL will activate active camoflage
2.) Method two (without the plugin): just entering the warthog initiates an active camouflage effect for the warthog- what's the sense of making a warthog that's permanently in active camo, if you can't even get in it!
