Seriously, just download it again. Show your dad the file size, and explain to him that MBs are a small fraction of GB...

And seriously though, just get another hard drive... they're $70 or something like that for a big-ass one. Hell, I got a new HD for all of $90...

With 152 GB on it.

Change the user account that you use at the moment to a restricted user, and create a new one that has admin rights, then the next time he logs on to the normal account, he won't be able to un-install shit...only you with the secret admin account will be able to do that...

i have an idea for the ones u dont install. go into C:\Windows, make a folder, put a folder inside that folder,put a folder inside that folder,put a folder inside that folder,put a folder inside that folder,put a folder inside that folder, etc. till whenever and put them in there. he will never know

Many different ways to avoid this problem again:

A.) Password the folder

B.) Hide the folder

C.) Put it on a Disk

D.) Buy another Computer

E.) Create a file with 5 files in that, in each of those files, put another 5 in there, ect.
(name each like 1,2,3,4, & 5 | and memorize a code for example 1,4,3,2,5,3 is the way to get to your Halo stuff!)

F.) Move out of House

G.) Ummm, I don't know any more...

1 he bulds computars, and knows ALOT about files, sizes, space, mb, and much much much more. He knows 3 times as much as I do. He knows how small they are. And downloading it again is harder than it seems, with 56k it takes 2 and a half hours. Thats 2 hours that I have to somehow get past him!

Shadow, AFAIK, Adminsistrators of the computers can still access passworded folders...

But, as for the thing, ask your dad to tell you why he won't let you have that.

yea, download a folderlock (i got 1 from download.com) password the files and then he wont n there in you computer because they only come p when u search for the name in the search engine. and even then u cant delete them unless he finds out ur pasword

I.have.one.moron...... And you still have to install .net framework. Its a exe! (Though I can keep a back up the install setup on a zip disk or somthing.) PIm going to pm a mod and ask him to lock this thread.
