About DECOY's new chillout map
I was wondering, I'm trying to make a mod with MC's who fight each other on each side of beavercreek (like in the CE SP map retribution 1.1) in CE, and converting it back to PC, but I face a dilemma. I need to make the team's suits different colors so you can know which ones to kill, but in DECOY's CE to PC mod, the chillout one, did he include his own skins, then convert it, and they stayed? Can I make colored skins for the MC's, inject them in CE, and convert to PC and they'll still stay there? Is it possible, cause I just want to create a mod with a bunch of MC's to fight against and alongside who are actually a challenge to fight, not some dumb aliens or ugly, slow moving infectious diseased rotting evil... whatever species the flood is.
in hek make a set of marines with the cyborg model and in the actor varients tags change the permutation colours to blue on both options for blue team and red for red team then convert those tags to pc as well.

Yeah, I'm just gonna use the delimeter tags... whatever. And um, how would you convert the tags to PC, isn't that just kind of part of the CE-PC conversion?warlord wrote:in hek make a set of marines with the cyborg model and in the actor varients tags change the permutation colours to blue on both options for blue team and red for red team then convert those tags to pc as well.
And if you changed the permutation colors would that just make the bipeds one solid color? I don't want pure red & blue cyborgs.
Nope, permutations are controlled by the mutli-purpose map. Elite, & grunts use permutations and they arnt one singel color.0m3g4Muff1n987 wrote:Yeah, I'm just gonna use the delimeter tags... whatever. Oh, so even in Halo PC, the elites are different colors cause of permutations, not different skins? Kool... alright, thanks.conure wrote:Nope, permutations are controlled by the mutli-purpose map. EDIT: Wait! How do you change the permutations? Don't you just edit the biped, go down to the permutations thing, and press add, and change both colors to blue or red? That's what I did. What did I do wrong?
