Is there anyway to darken up levels.

Is it in anyway possible to decrease the lighting of a level? I want to make bloodgulch darker, but I can't seem to figure out how. If it's possible can someone please tell me how to do it or link me to something that tells me?

You have to edit the lightmaps.

in hmt. They're usually called levels/test/levelname/levelname or something along those lines in the bitmaps class. There are usually around 10 to 25 textures though.
