Wow, they must have knew with a name like Halo that alll kinds of conversation would come.. Either way i take Barimatone's side, but i think we all are entitle to our own opinions without being flamed. Just because he is the minority, doesn't mean he is wrong..

Technically, since humans always model things after themselves and god supposedly modeled us in his image, we do make god.

seriously Zeus, why do you freak out so? it's just his way of expressing himself... and I do remember the "witch trials", which were driven by religion... you dont want to lower to their level... killing people in the name of religion

The Witch Trials were only one of an unbelievable amount of massacres, murders, attempted genocides, and other forms of being destructive against other human beings that were led, enforced, and promoted by religion.

Like I said, it was and still is a form of controlling people. Back in the day it used to be priests that directed armies into battle (priests that were in direct links with "rulers").

"Destroy these people in the name of God!"
And they marched into battle with a smile on their face due to their fear of being damned and being sent to hell for going against god's will.
