I thought Alienwares cost around $3000 bucks...

They rip you off, you could make the same, if not better, comp for a little over $1000.

And about the 1 hour thing, Demon probably did Helms Deep in 45 min and I did Minis Tirith in around 30 min. And its taken me about 5 hours so far to make Recompiled (counting the old version)

yep, very true. they dont even use great parts, just ok ones for playing games.

and I did Isengard in like 45 minutes...

but when it comes to comps, building your own is almost always 3x cheaper... but that's only when you're talking about building the best you can. if you build one of those 'economical' PCs, you wont save much money... but the only reason you would build a pc is because you're making it as big and nice as possible.

I haven't played the actual level, but from what I saw in the video, but the actual building would probably take me 45 minutes tops with 10 minutes for importing the turret.

And you can put pretty glass and LED sticks/lights in custom comps....

importing the turret is as simple as clicking tools, import tag into scenario, then gun turret. you must have a really bad perception of time, dude.

and my alienware has fancy green lights and alien logos with green lights in the eyes! wheee! Plus the case is friggin awesome!
