making something explode then disappear

making something explode then disappear
im trying to make scenery explode then disappear like a jackals shield but i can't make it disappear. i made it emit a cloud of smoke and metal debri shards when it dies but it doesn't disappear afterwards. can anyone help?
k i ll tell me but can u tell me how get the to explode?
this is how:
dl this
now put the biped 1 in your hmt v3.5 plugins folder and open hmt go to bipeds click on pibed u want to explode then in top right u will see a box that says desroyed after dying check that box
k now ittl disapear like 2 seconds after dieng but it doesnt make an explosion u have to add that your self i dont know how since u do can u tell me ive been trying to figure out how?
i dont know to do it to scenery mabey move the tag to biped section? and back

that didn't work but it gave me an idea. if i give the scenery a biped tag then rebuild the map then it might work. and to make scenery explode you need phenomena's collision model plugin
1. now open the map you want in hmt
2. go to the [coll] tag and find whatever you want to explode
3. then on the right in the tag editor thing make the max body vitality a number like 100
4. next make the body destroyed threshhold half of what the max body vitality was (in this case its 50)
5. now where it says materials pull down each material and make the body damage multiplier 1 for each material
6. now pull down the regions menu and select each region and check the box "dies when object dies" for each region.
7. save
8. go into hht and find the [coll] tag.
9. now find the object you made explode
10. on the right where the dependancy editor is click on the 4th [effe] tag from the top and swap it for vehicles\wraith\effects\death explosion
11. now for all the other [effe] tags swap them for vehicles\wraith\effects\partial damage
12. open up the map and shoot at whatever you made explode and kaboom.
