Silly Grenade Mod
Silly Grenade Mod
I know that I should get ready for the flames, but I thought I would do something other than lurking. This video shows a simple grenade mod with falling damage removed.
It is more of a one act stunt video, but I found it funny and it would be a cool addition for strategy in some real mods.
This really didn't take much skill, but when you consider the aerial assault possibilities, it is at least fun. If anyone is interested in the values I used, to avoid the trial and error, just let me know.

Well, I adjusted the force of the grenade about 5 times to get it perfect (I knew where I wanted to launch from). Then it took me about 15 jumps to get it right. Now I can make the flag grab about 1 out of every 3 or 4 jumps.Ridien wrote:Heh, how many tries did it take to get that perfect?
I was going to make a return trip with the flag, but I didn't want to spend that much time on it.
I still think it's kind of funny, especially when you imagine an assault with waves of "paratrooping" MCs and attempts to shoot them out of the sky.
I had tried different force modifications with projectiles, but this one would actually add to the gameplay of a mod without modifying the normal weapons or changing the MC's normal movement.
Now you just need to give the Pistol or AR projectiles some force so you can knock the flying MC's out of the air or maybe back in the direction they came. I think that would be really hilarious to watch.I still think it's kind of funny, especially when you imagine an assault with waves of "paratrooping" MCs and attempts to shoot them out of the sky.
