i accidentally replaced my sky\clear afternoon\bitmaps\cloud mask bitmap
and now
i saved it from my back up map
but whenever i save it and open it up in adobe to make it the proper dxt format
it just appears all white
PLZ HELP!

i already sent him the file, theres nothing wrong with it in the 1st place
and codeman, thats real newbie sounding. you dont have to reinstall just because 1 bitmap is messed up. you have a backup of all the maps right on the halo cd (in the .cab files).

If your backup just got corrupted, all you have to do is copy the one from the halo cd.
Codeman I can't even begin to imagine the trouble you must have gone through in your modding experience if you reinstalled the game every time you needed to restore a map.
