y does it say exception?

hey i changed a few things in blood gulch started the game opened my own server and i got out the gun i changed and tried shooting it and it minimized halo and and said checking exception or something like that what does that mean and can i fix it or is it just something wrong with the game.

You usually can't unless u did something wrong. Sometimes the game doesn't like what u did and blows u off. Sometimes it doesn't. Every time I try out a mod I'm crossing my fingers

It say exception when you messed up in the programing like putting a value in and insted of putting like 4c you put 5c. It will also say exception when you leave the bloodgulch.map file open in the editing progs and run the game. One last reason that i can think of it doign it is when you exit the game by pushing alt f4 to get out fast to change something and then you play the game sometimes it says exception but all you have to do is try running the game again. lol i cross my fingers as well but anyway i think its becoz u modded halo too much...wen i modded halo too much i kept getting that exception thingy so i had to restart halo and then it worked
