Please help.

Ok, I followed the hex-editing guide here on halomods. I'm doing (or as far as I can tell) everything it says right. Alas when I click the save button it saves it. Although when I load the game (I have the demo version, and I got the demo offsets) and get into bloodgulch. Nothing has changed. No matter how much I mess with the hex, nothing ever changes. Oh, I look for awhile now and I coudn't find a post with this subject. Although just because I serched dosn't mean I coudn't have missed something...

Anyways, Thanks in advance!

Ok, I now confirmed what the problem is (y'all could have guessed what it was and I did too but now im 100% sure) Drum roll please. The changes dont save!

Yeah I've tried that, and 'Save as'. I tired browsing for the file to make sure it was saving to the right place. Alas, still no luck. Oh well. Gonna have to waite for another post...

You think modding the demo is hard i started modding the demo 2 months ago and i didnt have the demo offset list i had retail and had to figure out the values from typing in the offsets and writing down the values and i could do almost anything anyone else with retail can do. Then the demo offsets came out and it is alot easier but i had retail version a few days after the demo offsets came out. And the best progs for the demo is HMT v3, Hexfull or something like that, milkshape 1.7 i think, and adobe photoshop 7.0. Oh cant forget winrar you need that to extract some of the progs you need.
