Hey all....
Many of you people know about my unfortunate incident whit mah 13337 softmodded Xbox, and it died so ive moved on to Halo PC. IM NOT GETTING ANOTHER XBOX SO DONT BLAME ME IM WAITING 4 XBOX 2 aight?
Anyways...
ive moved on to halo PC and am having even more problems with THAT and my ancient 1.2 gig prossessor and my ATI radeon 7200... it looks like **** compared to screenies ive seen... and when i tried to update it to play online, it says "pleeze insert the correct halo cd and restart the game" even IF ITS THE CD I BOUGHT!!!
when i got it there was a nasty scratch on the disc, and when i put it in mah drive, no autorun... (i thot "wierd its microShite and they always autorun... ") and when i go to MyComp and look at the CD drive it's all wierd symbols instead of saying "haloPC" or w\e...
MY THEERIE (however u spell theorie):
The gash on the disc concerns the portion of the cd that has the name of that particular cd... (like say u put in "palmOne desktop" wen u put the cd in t3h drive and look at the title in myComp usually it would say "PalmOneDSsoft" or sumpin so u knew what it was)
the scratch on the disk keeps the computer from reading the disks name and Halo.exe gets confused because it dosent recognise the CD in the drive. it is probably lookin for a disk called "halo" and finds "gvslsgfsf54s5665df365s4645sd35645645fuckshitbitchcuntass" or somthing like that.

im gonna burn a copy of all the files on the halo disc onto a blank CD and use my CD burner app to name the disk what it's supposed to be. THATS WHERE U COME IN FELLOW HALO PC USERS::: someone post the title that they see in MyCompy when they put in the halo disk... PLZ HELP ME FIRST XBOX NOW THIS!!!

im getting sick of all this stuff... i know ur gonna say return the disk or sumpin for a refund and i CANT because i dont have the reciept... i always loose those things,.,, i tried to return it and stupid FutureShop said no. i just downloaded a copy of mandrakeLinux so i can play my halo pc without anymore problems (im gonna use WINE the windows emulator)
so when i post next i might be the first person to play Halo PC/for linux 1337!!!!!!!!
