Changing weapon names...

How can I change what it says when you pick up a weapon? For example, how would I make it say "Picked up a battle rifle" instead of "Picked up an assault rifle"???

do a search for "assault rifle" in hex, and change it to what you see fit whenver it comes up, it can only be the same number of chars though

Um, are you sure, cause i have a mod that says "Picked up SMG" when you pick up the pistol. I could be wrong, but i dont know of any 3 character guns that they could have swapped... I am sorta newbish so dont flame me if im wrong.

It can only be UP TO the same number of letters.

ya the ones u dont need could just be spaces that u dont see cause they r at the end

OK, I found what you are talking about, but it is not working for me. In game, instead of saying "Picked up rounds for battle rifle" it says "Picked up rounds for " Check out what I changed (highlighted in black)

replace the words assault rifle with the words battle rifle
