Usable Plasma Sword in SP

I just tried doing that via a meta swap and got an exception error. What the heck do I keep doing wrong?

Do you think what that guy on hackhalo did was to extract the third person PS model, and then inject it into the place of the plasma rifle fp model? That would save him any modeling, for sure.

This doesn't work, there is something wrong with the indicies so u can't import the energy sword model over the plasma rifle fp model. U can however, swap the plasma rifle fp model with the plasma sword model, but then the textures get skewered everywhere.
