large bases V2
large bases V2
in the new version of large bases the map has been completely remade with ultra blokes wich looks much better and also gets rid of bugs when shooting to close to a panel. there is also a new tank skin and homing rockets are improved (they are faster and less homing making them more realistic) there is also the addition to a bridge wich spans across the canyon it has two towers on each side witch have anti arcraft warthogs on the top of them.

Re: large bases V2
Looks like an awesome map, and i can't wait to try it. I don't like the sound of these ultra blokes that helped you make the map though.gog wrote:the map has been completely remade with ultra blokes

To get it on to your xbox:
-Extract the file in the ZIP folder above
-Rename the file so it has .ppf at the end
-Look in Halo's cache on the HDD, you will recognise it because many of the files are called cache001.map, cache002.map etc.
-FTP cache003.map to your PC
-(I'm used to H2 modding, so I used DotHalo for this part, there's probably an easier way). Open DotHalo and then open the map cache003.map.
-In Dothalo go to apply patch, and choose the file you renamed earlier in the patch box, and bloodgulch.map in the other. Then click on apply patch.
-A box will appear telling you that the patch has been applied, click OK then close DotHalo.
-FTP cache003.map back to your Halo cache folder
-Load Halo, and play on your new bloodgulch map!
Here is a video of it ingame
Thank you Gog, you have rekindled my love for Halo!
Great mod, good luck with others. I give you permission to put this tutorial thingy and video in your first post if you want to.
I have one problem though, whenever I look at your map in sparkedit, all the bridges appear to be trees, and if I edit it, hardly any of the weapons spawn. Help me please oh mighty gog!

Those who can't play, mod.
And those who can't mod, mod PC.
