SP to MP WORKS FOR PAL Users...

Halo Xbox (PAL) uploads. All posts must have pictures and a mod to download. Never upload a full map, use PPF always.

SP to MP WORKS FOR PAL Users...

Post by Dubzz2028 »

Firstly, sorry about posting in the files forum without a file, but i think this is worth saying, and sorry if its been said before.

Anyways i've noticed people saying they want the Single to Multiplayer maps converted to PAL, theres no need. if you use the patches to convert BloodGultch from PAL to NTSC, then load it up and click anylevel, it dont matter if you load up bloodgulch, or click on another level and get the dirty disk error, either way you've got the cache files now in your x/y/z partition, then use a file manager, delete the cache003.map and replace it with the SP to MP cache you downloaded (make sure its named the same- cache003.map) load up halo again, select the map the SP to MP map is supposed to replace and it works fine :D

Or, you could change the build number and it would work.

Changing the build number is easier as Gabs said.

At least we wont have the PAL/NTSC divide in Halo 2.

if you dont already know

To let this (sp-->mp conversion "HEAT") work on PAL:

1. Download the file
2. Extract somewhere on your PC
3. Open cache003.map with your hex editor
4. Go to offset 0x40
5. Change 01.10.12.2276 to 01.01.14.2342
6. Upload to your cache partition and overwrite cache003.map

Follow any other instructions for the original.
