I have nothing better to do than to listen to all of the Halo PC audio, and guess what I have learned. All those times to heard that Elite talk, you were hearing it in plain English... just reversed. In all the voices I have listened to, it is just average talk backwards. I'm not sure how well known this is but I thought it would be worth the post.

He could have just gotten the game, and noticed, i mean, you are an ass for flaming him...and he asked us not to flame him in the first place...

How the hell do you listen to the sounds?

With the Xbox version use the ADPCM codec. As for PC, i dunno!

U need to find the audio files, I think taht you need to extract them from something

What do you mean, backwards? They speak normally, it's just hard to hear in-game because of their deep voice. They say all sorts of stuff though, like "Bring it on, tough guy" and "I'm da man!" and "Who else?" and "See you in hell". All in perfect English, remeber though MC has a translator so he hears all that in English, where really Grunts make barking noises and Elites speak their own language, which by the way their names are written looks to be like a cross between Arabic and a south-east Asian language (like Vietnamese).

Elites DON'T speak English...
They also don't in-game.
If you extract the sounds from Halo, you'll hear those things in normal, (I'm da man!)
But Elites speak Elite, even in-game...
Sarge voice, pitch down, and reverse the whole crap.
