The Beginning (Halo 1)
Well, back in 2003, when I was in the 5th grade, I watched my Step-Father play this "Halo" game. I would watch him play it every once in a while. Now back then, I used to only play Nintendo 64 games and Playstation 2 games, so I had never played the "Xbox". At the time though I was really into the Goldeneye game for the N64. I was used to only one joystick, which on Goldeneye was the moving and the aiming. So my Step-father had beaten the game, and he never played the Xbox anymore, so I tried out this "Halo" game. Man I LOVED it. It took me a long time to beat the game, because I was scared of the first encounter with the flood, and I always got lost trying to find my way back into the swamp. But later, I grew some balls (Not really, as I was a 5th grader...) and had some patience to beat that Guilty Spark level. When I beat it, I was SO Happy!! But then The Library came... I was pissed off, because the Monitor kept saying "Please wait here until I return" and then 20 combat + 10 carrier forms would start coming out of holes in the walls, and I would keep dying. Well I finally beat the game, as I was actually pretty swell at the game at the time. Except that one part... The warthog run... It was so hard!! I couldn't beat it, it took me like 10 trys to finally beat it.
Halo 2
I finally got Halo 2 for Christmas of 2004. What a joy that was. I was in the 5th grade still. I cant really remember much on this except I was amazed at driving the wraith and being able to use the sword. One part I do remember though, is trying to beat that "High Charity" map. I was scared of it. "Again a flood map" and I couldn't beat it. I refused to play the level for a week or so, but I wanted to see the ending of Halo 2. So then I finally played through, beat the last mission (Man Tartarus was hard, If it wasn't for Johnson telling me "I got is shields down, shoot him!" I would have never figured out how to beat him.
Halo 3
Well sometime in August 2007, My Xbox 360 had gotten the "3 Red Rings Of Death" Which ended up me getting a working Xbox 360 on October 5th. Which meant... An even longer delayed Halo 3 wait.... But yeah, I finally got my Xbox 360 back, I popped in Halo 3, played the campaign... It really made me unhappy, it was too boring/no thrill. But the Multiplayer makes up for that.
Well, thanks for reading my Halo story, why not take some time and post yours?

Looking back, I saw Halo basically on its release. My neighbors' brother played it on their Xbox. Us younger kids disregarded that madness and stuck to our Goldeneye, Banjo Tooie, The World is Not Enough, and Donkey Kong 64.
In 2004, I was talking to kids at my school who were die-hard Xbox fanboys, and they kept professing the wonders of Halo. I looked at it, saw that it was out for OS X, and ran out and got it. Then I got into modding for the most part (Solra Bizna ;_;), and stuck with that until early 2005-ish, when my friend and I chipped in to get an Xbox. I had had a copy of Halo 2 since release, actually. One of my other friends' cousin worked at MS, and I got a shiny new disc for $30, with a cool sticker on the front saying "MICROSOFT COMPANY PURCHASE ONLY" or something. When I got the Xbox, I started playing Halo 2 like mad, and got XBL. I still remember making machinima with Jim_Raynor (Don Sforza/Andras Ostrom), and talking with a British kid about the London bus bombings the day it happened while we were filming. Scary things.
Then I sat here and made posts. Until I got my 360 a month ago.

Then randomly I play this game with Andrew_b, who is an absolute noob at halo 2. It is quite funny.

Halo 1
I always had to have the updated system's when I was a child, anything new that came out, I needed it. (or so I thought) Anyways I had gotten an XBox the first year it came out for Christmas and I never really touched it, I played a few games like fusion frenzy and Oddworld: Munch's Oddesey but I never got interested. That next summer, the summer of 2002, I went to a camp, where they taught about animation and drawing and for some reason they had video games there. One day I was walking around looking for an open place to play and the XBox they had there caught my attention and when I went over there, they were playing Halo CE. The first time I played I immediately fell in love with it and my skill's developed fast, just from playing at camp. When I went home I begged my parent's to go rent the game and it was non-stop playing from there.
Halo 2
One of my most anticipated games ever. I think I was in 7th grade when Halo 2 was coming out, I honestly didn't know it till the day before when I heard a bunch of kids talking about it when we were riding the bus home from school. So the second I heard about I knew I would have to have this game. I went home and persuade my mom to get it for me. I played this game non-stop for about 3 years. From creating clans, machinima and modding. This game was my life.
Halo 3
My most anticipated game of all-time. I had been waiting for this game for 2 years. I read about it everyday. Before it even came out, I knew the maps, the weapons and the gameplay. I was in love so to speak. But sadly Halo 3 was a huge let down because of Bungie's lack of care for what the community want's. But I still play it because I have nothing better to play, except maybe shadowrun. But that's a whole other story.

Halo 1: around the time about a month or so after halo 2 came out, i stopped by a mac store and was browsing through the games and found Halo: Combat Evolved, listening to my friends gloat about how awesome Halo 2 is, and loving the marathon series, i decided to spend $50 on this, unfourtunately, having a S**tty computer (old s**tty, not just plain s**tty) it was hard to play campaign without major lag in long hallways, so i started playing online, finding it very un-laggy it was enjoyable, of course sucking at it because i was used to keyboard only controls because of marathon.
