Pelican's Origination?

If you have ever seen the movie,
Aliens, then you have probably noticed the exact resemblance between the dropship on the movie and the Pelican. Also, the marine's helmets look a lot like some guy's helmet in the movie. Just thought i'd let ppl know.

wtf r u guys talking about??? i just think that U Master_Makayo have issues and need 2 get them resolved this is not spam this is a very good and intersting topic!
BTW yea thats pretty weird *watches alien movies* im gonna look at them sumtine but i do vaugly rember sumtin lookin like a pelican but also alot of times people get ideas for vid games from movies and such... cant think of an example right now but i kno that it happens alot
must... watch... alein.... movies....... GAH!

I noticed that ages ago, Bungie used loads of inspiration from Aliens. Such as when Burke calls Hicks a grunt. I also reckon they got inspiration from Starship Troopers too.

has any one seen the predator?... not the one from the movie but the real one? from the us millitary? it has similaritys to a banshee.
and there are also similar dropships in that final fantasy flick... the spirits within.. similar plots too... infectious things that cant be killed very easily... impending doom... a guy who wants to kill everything to protect them... ya know? similarities. there every where (see signature) and the us millitary is making pelicans too-- and they say video games are bad shamless republican hipocrites

Ah, yes, i just remembered it, the thing i wanted to say last time. One thing off Starship Troopers that Bungie definitely copied is:

you do know that "assault rifle" is a real term and that the battle rifle is modeled after a real gun and flamethrowes exist, right? And Bridges are used on ships and so are sick bays....you are a dumbass

I saw Aleins, that's a freaky movie. I dont think the little transport has any resemblance but the weapons and ships do.
