mc's "dustin echos"

if i spelled that name right i think its mc's reall name.(dont flame me if thats true and you have already figured that out) let me explain, after the explosion of halo(level, the maw) mc says did any one els survive or somthing like that and cortana says "just dustin echos" "we're all thats left" so she must be talking about mc.... has any one els encounterd that...... p.s i was doing this on legendary.

Plus it makes sense if it's "Dust and Echoes" because.. Well you know.

Dust= Debris from HAlo
Echos= like from the explosion.

i thought it was dust and echos. but i guess it could be a codename like spartan 117? who knows?
