Halo: The Reach Campaign

Let me try and wiggle out of this one.

Aridridryorn and I have started a mod, called Halo: The Reach Campaign. THe main feature of the mod is a totally new singleplayer campaing, where you play through Eric Nylund's novel, The Fall of Reach. There will be several new weapons, and a few new vehicles.

We already have a few elements planned.

Haunter
Type: Stealth Tank
Crew: 1
Armaments: Light Plasma Cannon

The Haunter uses Covenant Light Bending technology to hide itself from enimies. The Haunter is best used in Hit-and-Run missions, as it is lightly armed and armored.

M41 PCG
Type: Chain Gun
Accuracy: Poor
Damage: High

The M41 PCG is technically the same weapon as the M41 LAAG. It was quickly fashioned by one of the Spartans from a destroyed Warthog. The only modification is the attachments of a handle, as well as removal of the sheild plates. Though most infantry could not handle such a powerful weapon, a Spartan can weild it without any encumberance.


Like Aridridryorn said in none too specific terms, we need help. If you can meet any of the requisites, and would like to help with this project, please cont me or my friend.

Coders: Must be familliar in scripting and using the HEK.

Modelers: Need to know how to use 3dsMax, or a .max/.3ds compatible program.

Skinners: Must Be Proficient with Photoshop, and general skinning.

Mappers: Must be able to make Singleplayer and Multiplayer maps.

Sound Artists: Must be able to make sound effects, including, Gunshots, Vehicles, ect.

How r u gonna make it a single player map. Are u just gonna have a bunch of ai running around? I think its a good idea but it sounds hard.

Yes, it will be very hard, andwere gonna need plenty of help doing it, but we think it'll be fun, and well worth it.

It's already being done, and First Strike is being done as well. And it would be plainly stupid to do The Flood.

do you have have mod testers cause i wanna test the mod out :D

RSP: We badly need any help we can get, we will be glad to include you in our pre-alpha stages, it will be a while but once it arrives we need as much feedback as possible!

well ok but i can't do any mapping what so ever so i just wanna test this mod plus if u let me me a mod tester email me telling me the link to get the map and when i can test it k this is my email
