hey i was over at bungie.net just looking at the halo 2 pics then i noticed somthing...the new soilders that they have...
Sorry the pic is so big...
what if this explains about who they are or what they can do or just some general info about them. You know how big a part unsc marines did in halo maybe these will play a bigger part....I know they are suppost to be better versions of the marines (much how jackels are better then grunts) but what if this sheds light onto how the marines will effect gameplay (maybe some of the marines/people in the wav files will show up in halo 2...much how some marine names where thrown around in halo..manedez and sarge and such). Just an idea

No its not that people are stupid its more that they don''t read up on things....ODST's are Helljumpers....the last Helljumper with the chief (and the other Spartans...thats right there are more spartans) was the Sgt...and thats as far as I know, but thats only a division of ODST's and I'm sure they've got plenty more on earth....and all in all more than likely the reason that the Marines looked like they did in Halo is they had to do an emergency jump from the PoA...but there were other marines on the Island...if you don't know who the Helljumpers are...go whatch the Opening Movie to 343GS and you'll hear who I think is the ODST that kills himself (either him or Pvt. Wallace Jenkins...that guy you find dead right before the flood come) asking the Sarge why they have to listen to this crap...those are Helljumpers....a good example of regular Marines are the Marines that are with Cpt. Keyes when you have to save him (T&R)...not a single Helljumper there because they were all ordered off the ship before the captain left. Hoped that cleared up the "Oh look...new marines in Halo 2" issue....they're not new, just better equiped.

Thanks man, its hard to keep up on all the new halo stuff i work like a 14hour job not to mention 2 freelance jobs...so i only have enough time to come here post play one game of halo sleep then go back to work. Not to mention i havn't read the books (dont read books), so its my first time hearing them called ODST's.
