Prometheus
Haha, alright guys. I think that's enough. But yeah, I know what you're talking about, M9. I experience the same crap with my dinky little laptop. Designing on this thing is a serious pain. Definitely teaches you patience though.
Hope to see some stuff soon. Maybe Prometheus will magically appear for us and we can see some cool new things.

As mentioned earlier: if it were dead, an update would be posted telling us. If you've ever even been to HaloDev, or checked out their forums, you would know that Nick even helps out in the community there by answering questions. The forums are down now, but this is all recent. The project is ancient, yes, but it's never been officially called out as dead. We've been waiting much longer than you have, Yodel, so pay some respect to the authors. If Nick's team can't finish it, I would assume that they would let someone else who can finish it take over.

Has anyone dared to consider the fact that they're done, but decided not to release it after careful consideration?
On a more positive note, what about the possibility that they're just polishing up, and if an update was given, they'd just be telling us all the features of the program, when they're really just about to release it?
I know, wishful thinking, but you never know!

It is expected, and demanded.Tural wrote:MrMurder, we're going to hold you to that promise.

The website I once had was haloforums.com. It sort of died unfortunately, and my free host was horrible. But it was nice for the time being, and I finally got to use my own admin panel
But that was years ago. @JK-47 I agree that they're missing their time frame. I was actually a "young child" when this program started, and soon I will be an adult. That is a LONG time.

Geez that's going back a ways now... thinking about how things used to be over there. But ya, back when prom started I was an elementary kid who still felt that high school was some far off place that would never be reached, and now I'm a licensed driver, thinking about what college to go to. lol. Where does the time go anyways?

I'm not sure he was asking about Halomods' front page, and I'm not sure you're referring to Halomods' admins, but I'll say this anyways. Iron_Forge is fairly easy for the staff to reach. Just because he doesn't post doesn't mean he isn't around. He was gone for a while a bit ago, but he appears to be back now, and I've talked to him a few times over the last couple weeks. In addition, Nick's account also has permissions to post stories on the main page, as Grenadiac's does. However, if memory serves me correctly, Iron_Forge's account does not have the ability to post stories on the home page.Eaton wrote:Both administrators are rarely on so I wouldn't expect anything to be posted on the main page. If I was in this situation would send him an email if he is not to be found. I did once, and he got back to me with relative speed.Tural wrote:I'm not sure he was asking about Halomods' front page, and I'm not sure you're referring to Halomods' admins, but I'll say this anyways.
