basically the shee is like a vehicle that has gone beyond its limits... first... it has unlimited ammo, can fly, no limits on where to go except in buildings... and it cannot be destroyed... thats whats not fair...

if it was limited to something like the warthog where you can blow it up (not litterlay destroy it but stick a plasma on or use rockets) then it would be ok.

WHAT?!?! you can stick plasmas to it and use rockets on it...so what are you talking about, im confused?

It does have weaknesses, first sure it has unlimited ammo, and can fly. But the turning isn't great your a HUGE target, and the armor ins't that thick compared to ...lets say... A TANK! You as a person (in halo master cheif) can walk around duck/dodge carry weapons and basically out manouver any vehicle in halo (except maybe the ghost but its plasmas take while to work). Its just part of the game just work harder.

I can easily take out a banshee, thats not what I'm saying but I dont like it... its cheap...

Yea espeally when they keep flying around the base then they rams you once they respawn.

Exactly I've used that very same tactic against nay sayers (people who call shee users noobs) all the time.

1. If you can't shoot down a banshee that's pretty ****pathetic. I've take out two banshees with an AR while they were both aginst me! Here:

If someone's got a shee get in a MCG hog and blast the **** out of em! It's not that hard people.

2. Personally I think the FRG is a bit to powerful, jsut today I got owned by this fag who kept using it over and over (he didn't use any other weapons waht so ever) and I finally got him. But still the two things that people call "noob devices" (shees, FRG's) are the pretty much the damn hardest things to use I can barely get one kill with one of those crappy things! It takes an elite to use a noob cannon or noob shee.

I never use shees and FRGs yet I still own all!

My pet peeve is ghosts, especially indoors when it's impossible to kill them, althought a noob could easily use one to own.

Tanks are the most well balanced vehicle in the game, which is why I use em.

In my opinion the shotgun is the best weapon, and the pistol eh... so-so kind of useless (I can't hit **** with it! I iown with it on xbox though*).

And anyway how the heck would a noob know if a banshee was an pwn device when they're a noob? Shouldn't they not know anything about the game?

i personally think banshees are fun when u get someone to play a dogfight. that is good. other noobs who just join an empty server and hover around and 'shee camp SUCK A$$. that is just stoopid.

another bump? o well. once i joined a game with 2 people in it and they were both in shees and were apparently friends because they werent shooting each other. they both automatically went for me, so i just quit cuz thats gay

'Shees are okay. They go a little too fast though. You should be able to dodge them atleast a little. Blowing them up is easy. A pistol, rocket, frg, warthog gun, tank, sometimes needler if they crash into something, plasma grenade, and even a well placed frag grenade can take him down. As will a bagillion shots with a sniper rifle. Dogfights are...... just stupid. I've played too many team slayer games where everyone's fighting and 2 people are just flying around in circles trying to shoot each other. It also makes it kinda confusing to tank drivers. All those criss crossing banshees, after awhile I'll just shoot a random one and hope it's not mine (or just not care about it).

EDIT: Oh and shades are good if you're good at leading.

most banshee users ive met are actual noobs, first they hover shooting me with plasma, fire off one fuel rod, then drop down and try to run me over. im not saying that the fact theyre using the shee makes them noob, but they never seem to be able to run me over, a lot ove em just miss me and a flip around and throw a nade on em, or sometimes i have some wimpy lookin gun out and they see me as easy target, so as they try to run me over, i pull out the rocket launcher and shoot em

its very easy to destory, you just need to latch a plasma nade on it or take it down with another weapon such as a pistol or a sniper rifle. very easy to do

when its up in the air, continusly moving and diving down towards you and bombing you away?

maybe when its low and it comes toward you and its low enough to throw a sticky nade... maybe...

when there diving right towards you just get em with the pistol or hit them with a sniper rifle right on the greyish part on to nose, instant kill

i never bother to snipe banshees. its a waste of sniper shots which could be put to more use. id rather used shotgun
