Bungie Storyline

Ok, i think that i may have craked bungies storyline, and figure that Oni is before Halowars because it could be a female spartan that was extracted frfom the others because she was unique, then after that the original halo series continues (halowars-halo3) then because Marathon starts on an alien mothership, i think theres a seperator between because you are crashing into a planet, possibly the Sph't race planet, and master chief disturbes the Sph't and starts another war, master chief gets rescued, damaging the mark VI armor he gets it replaced with the mark IV armor, and then is spawned to the alien motehrship to attack as some sort of Flank, thus continueing the marathon series. After that im kinda blank...

3. Halo 1
4. Halo 2
5. Halo 3
6. Forerunner (Idea among fanboys)
7. Marathon
8. Marathon 2 Durandal
9. Marathon Infinity

Oni is influenced by Ghost in the Shell... Not for the Halo series. Just read this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oni_(video_game) Not very similar to Halo IMO nor tied to the story.

thier not related to each other expect for the ai going crazy part that was in halo 3 and marathon and the marathon logo easter eggs

i guess, but in my opinion, i think that bungie has a conspiracy going and is planning to rule the world! MUAHAHHAHAHAHA! (well, maybe not world domination... lol)

They're damned references. Bungie is simply shouting out to its older fans. Many of them still play Marathon, such as me. There are so many contradictions proving that the games aren't related it's not even funny.

yeah halo and marathon are not connected.. Bungie just put alot of eater eggs that reference to marathon in halo. O and i don't know if anyone else know but bungie has a secret halo game in the making right now...

And no one knows whether or not their new game is halo related or not. I think I remember reading somewhere they wanted to branch off from the halo series...
But then again, my memory may be faulty.

well the game details are secret + the name.. but bungie sat down with some magazine company saying they have a new halo game in the making.. people where expected it to be announced at e3 in which case it wasent because bungie said that they need a dedicated event where they have more to show then what they have which is very little.

side note.. they didnt say it was halo 4 so dont get our hopes up it might be halo MMO lol..

I seriously doubt Bungie has been working on the Halo storyline for that long, just to tie it all in together to 'wow' us.

i'm hoping it's like a prequel with Battlefield series style gameplay, that would actually put the pelican and phantom to use (or i guess if it's a prequel its the old covenant dropship)

i would be able to play that for hours on end
