Swapping shaders.

Ok, I am trying to put the shader from the powerup glass in bloodgulch on stuff but when I do I get like this funky lookin pattern all over things., its not completely clear. Now I am a complete noob but here is what I was doing. I open the map in HMT3 and go to the powerup shader and copy the meta tag(i guess, string of 7 characters) and paste it onto the things I want that shader on. But I still get wierd patterns all over it. Why is this happening?

no ones gonna help you becuase you just want to use it for glass walls...
