Injecting New Models

Hi, I have recently been working on a map to edit the scenery in blood gulch. It is all done except when I asked a friend to test it he said it would be cool if you could put a downed life pod in it...like the ones in the second level of single player Halo. I tried to save the model and inject it over the tree stump but the verticies don't match. I tried injecting it over a model with more verticies, no luck...any suggestions or help would greatly be appreciated.

thanks in advance,
piles

Use Xinject or HMI. They can inject models from any level to another level. Plus you don't have to worry about vertices because it will rewrite the meta to fit whatever model your injecting. As long as the meta is big enough to fit your new model meta in.

you may have to sacrafice either the hogs model, or the scorpion. Cuz both of those models have vertices and size up the ying yang. But if ur not willing to overwrite something using Xinject. There always is the more complicated way of using HXE to create your own tag for the level using ur own meta making the model perfect. If u dont know how to use HXE talk to me or anyone else here who knows how to use it and will help you.

I'd help you with HXE but I'm not very good at explaining things to ppl. :P
