HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Is it possible to get a fly cam in halo 1 xbox during multiplayer? Or is there a way to have the host not be in game so two other boxes joining up could battle it out? Thanks for any input.

thanks man, I guess its time to fire up the old modded box and give it a shot. I guess its not easy to make it work over system link. I still play a lot of Halo 1 online and I had this vision where one day people could run a dedicated server on their xbox. Even if the guests didn't have OP functions it would still be cool if people could join an xbox and neither of them were local to the xbox. Obviously the guy with a better ping has a slight advantage but most PC servers dont actually have local users, its a machine just for hosting. It would be cool to fly around and watch people battle it out too. Right now if im trying to host but let other people battle it out I have to be on one of the teams and wherever im standing will effect their spawns and I cant move around to watch without distracting the game. Is there anyway to have me load up in the beginning as always being dead like when it goes to in game fly cam mode? Or have me load on neither red nor blue team in a game of slayer?
