Ok i got evox dash and i am able to connect my xbox to pc (flashfxp)
I don't know what ppf is and i don't know what cache is. all i want to do is get a few maps (like blood gulch)that people have modded onto my xbox and play them. But I have nooo idea how 2 do this. Can some1 pleez explain this. I am 13 and got this far ( yes i installed the mod by myself) I am NOT GONNA GIVE UP!!!!! pleez tell me. i am conpused

PPF's are file patchers that come with the mods in them so all you do is apply them to thr right cache file. Read the website link and then ask if you have anymore questions

sry but i dont really need that stuff. ( I don't do that stuff) all i want to do is dowload a modded map made by somebody else and put it on my xbox so i can play it. I don't know how. Pleez help me!

I'd be happy to answer your question, as it is very good and has never been asked before. Oh wait, none of those things are true. SEARCH you bastard! It's at the top of the page. Go read some tuts. Go to xbox-scene it's the best XBOX mod related website around. All you need to apply mods is PPF-O-MATIC and Flashfxp. The tut that guy posted a link to kind of explained all this, but what you have to do is start playing HALO, load the map you want to edit, exit, connect to your xbox with flashfxp, go to the Z drive, save the appropriate cache file(cache003 is blood gulch) on your computer, open PPF-O-MATIC, apply the patch to the map, and put the map back where you got it using flashfxp. -Just a tip, PPF-O-MATIC tells you to look for an ISO file, but if you change the file type to all at the bottom of the open window you can just patch the .map files. I guess I answered your stupid question anyway.

But, yeah you should try searching for something like that using the search button at the top.

The mods on this site aren't full maps but patches for the original maps of the game. You have to download them and then patch your original map with them using PPF-O-Matic.

Here is what you do. With your computer, connect to ur xbox and go to either the x, y or z drive. The drive with the halo files will be the one with cache000-005 in it. Delete all the cache00X.map files. Disconnect from your xbox. Load up halo. Load bloodgulch. Make sure you click on Blood gulch first and not ne other map. Start the level. As soon as you are in the game, go back to evox(or w/e dash u have) Connect to ur xbox again. Go back to the drive where the cache00x files were. Copy the cache003.map file to ur PC. D-load w/e mod for BG you want to use. Get PPF-O-Matic too. Find your cache file and then patch it with the mod you downloaded. Then load it back on to the xbox overwriting the cache003.map that was there already. That should be it. Just load up BG and play the mod.

I'll be happy to help you also. If you would like to edit maps and have all the tools you need all you have to do is download the program i made which has eveything you need. I designed this program for new comers also so that they are not lost. I'll post the link below for you so that you can download it. Now you wont feel left out. Have fun and enjoy modding lil one!
