im new to modding what should i do first?

i wanna mod my HALOCE to be like halo 3 wepons and stuff what do i do first i know abit about modding not much ty if u help

A little more information will be needed than just that:
Do you have HaloPC installed?
Do you have HaloCE isntalled?
Do you have any modding programs currently?
How comfortable are you with such things as modeling, meta editing, and Halo Editing Kit?

what does halo pc have to do with it? this is halo xbox.
Sorry, but I don't have a clue about injection in halo 1, and there doesn't seem to be any tutorials on the matter. However, somebody has already made a halo 2 mod like that, so maybe try something else.

That tutorial is for injecting meta into other maps. You say injection so that's the first thing that comes to mind. If you by chance mean model injection...HHT can do it but I believe the weapon must have the same vertices and indices. (I haven't injected a model in forever, can't remember).

well, there's no custom edition on xbox... and these are the halo xbox forums. That's really confusing though.
You may want to start with something smaller than that. Try halo cache editor. It's a very simple, on xbox editor that you can use to do simple mods such as projectile swaps and stuff. I can pm it to you by... saturday. It's a start.
