I need some things.

The subject and subject description say it all.

The 155 mb xbe patch, I'm not sure if that is what i need, but It would be nice to have.

The haloce tutorial is not manditory, but if a smart person would help me out (so I could make my own xbox maps) that would be wonderful. If a tut doesn't exist, can somebody who knows all about it pm me or contact me on xfire? (my username is "adolif")

A few questions about the xbe.

1.) Whenever I compress a map made by somebody else and it is haloce----->xbox, it freezes when I select the gametype. Also, when a map in its decompessed format is too big for the x, y, and z drives, it does the same thing. Is the xbe supposed to fix these problems? Ty for your help, and just a ppf, no xbe.

Opps, almost forgot, when I rebuild xbox maps with hht, they are always corrupted, and I don't think hmt will work. Any ideas on how to rebuild xbox maps? Ty.

HHT does rebuild maps. I've done it myself and I have a working conversion on my desktop of SP-MP using HHT.

May I see which map you are compressing? You would think they would compress for you before uploading. Saves time and bandwidth.

The path itself I don't believe I have. I do have the .xbe but that would be illegal to distribute. What the patch does is allows the game to load maps that are over 155mb limit. Which, coincidentally, aren't very many maps. I believe there was only one map made by TheSwampFox that went over that limit and even after compression. That's why it was made.

Theres an 150mb patch??? Holy Crap! Where is it?
I have a 115mb xbe, and odly enough, I have a few maps that
need over 115mb to function. Which would probably take away
my learning need to decompile/recompile to get conversions done.

Could I please be pointed where it is?

Thanks,

Edit: I had the issue without a new xbe. You have to have the patched xbe. Which I had problems patching, so I'm not sure if you will.
