HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I'm a newbie, so please do flame, but all of my map editors only are compatible with .map files, but I only download .ppf files... how do I convert them to .map? thanks!

Whoa... slow down there buddy. PPF files are small files that you use to patch the .map files. You don't get the .map files from the PPF's. You need to have a modchip and then have FTP programs to get the cache file on to your computer. Heres a good place to start www.xbox-scene.com read up and then ask more questions
